Of the 336 ACBSP accredited programs, only 31 programs, less than 10%, have a finance lab, 60% of business school finance labs have a student managed portfolio.” The new HEBSBA finance lab is coming; equipped with 4, 52″ television screens, a 26′ stock ticker, and student portfolio of over $100K!

The 2014 Robert Ryan Scholarship is a $1000.00 award available for the upcoming 2014-15 academic year. In order to be eligible for this award, an applicant must be a business major enrolled full time with at least 45 completed undergraduate hours and a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average. The UIW CLARION case competition brings together health professional students from diverse disciplines to analyze and deliver a quality care initative to a patient in need. The winning team will be invited to attend the national competition at the University of Minnesota for a chance at winning one of three top scholarships.

The Volunteers in Tax Assistance Program kicks Off Saturday, Feb. 1 at UIW. The program will be preparing and filing free tax returns for individuals making under $55,000.
