- UIW applicants with an overall GPA of 3.5 or above are guaranteed an interview during the Fall semester of their Senior year. Students must complete and submit an application through PTCAS. If the interview is satisfactory, the student will receive a conditional acceptance into the DPT class (pending successful completion of all prerequisites).
- UIW applicants with an overall GPA of 3.2 or above are guaranteed an interview during the Spring semester of their Senior year. Students must complete and submit an application through PTCAS. If the interview is satisfactory, the student will receive a conditional acceptance into the DPT class (pending successful completion of all prerequisites).
- UIW applicants are not required to pay the supplemental application fee. Any interested applicant is welcome to tour the facility. UIW students are welcome to attend informational sessions. Please contact Dr. Jonathan Jones at jljones@uiwtx.edu for specific dates or assistance with any question.

Pre-requisites for admission into UIW Entry-Level DPT program (to be completed prior to enrollment)
- Earned Bachelor degree (minimum of 120 credit hours)
- GPA: 3.0 or above
- GRE scores (it is recommend students prepare for the Graduate Record Examination test)
- A minimum of 50 hours of observation in different physical therapy settings
- Completed application with official copies of all transcripts
- Three (3) references, at least one (1) from a licensed physical therapist
